Great news! DuniaDeen and POTS will be organising a mock OSCE examination for the second and third year medical students. This is indeed to give the opportunity for students especially us as Muslims to be top notch in every area of life including our academic performance, insyaAllah.

This program also is intended to set a scene and to give ideas of how a real OSCE will be like especially for the second years who will experience it for the first time this year.

The setting of the mock OSCE is as follows :

1. There will be 6 stations altogether - 3 History Taking and 3 Clinical Examination
2. Each student will have 1 minute to read question provided at each station, 7 minutes to perform the task and 1 minute for written feedback by the assessor and moving to the next station
3.Among the things that can be tested :

2nd year
-Respiratory examination
- GI examination
- CVS examination
- GALS examination
- History taking (anything that you guys have learnt this year)

4. Each student is to bring along their own sthetoscope. Other things will be provided at each station.
5. We plan to have the program on the 10th October 2009, 2nd year from 11.00-1.30pm and 3rd year from 3.00-5.30pm.
6. Venue will be at Clubs and Societies - Evision Lounge, Room 2 and Room 6.
